CARBOHYDRATES 2 Meal Planning for Carbohydrates Part A AMDR refers to a range of intakes for carbohydrates, proteins, lipids or any other source of energy that is associated with minimized risk of persistent illness while proving sufficient intakes of crucial nutrients (Paeschke & Aimutis, 2011). It is worth noting that every energy source has its specific AMDR. For carbohydrates, the AMDR is 45-65% of total calories. Carbohydrates are considered as the major source of energy in the body. Carbohydrates are present in almost all types of consumed foods. However, people need to make to make the right choices of foods that contain sufficient carbohydrates. This practice facilitates the people's healthy life. It is worth noting that carbohydrates provide four calories to the body for each gram consumed. Therefore, carbohydrates power one's physical activities as well as maintenance functions of the body such as regulation of body temperature, breathing, and blood circulation.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
