Surname 1 Student’s Name Instructor’s Name Course Date World History Assignment The Story of Sinuhe The story of Sinuhe depicts the system of leadership in Egypt as well as portraying the theme of war. Egypt was under the leadership of Pharaoh Amenemhat (Elsayed 1). This system of leadership is monarchical because power is inherited. For instance, Senwosret inherited power from his father, Pharaoh Amenemhat I. from this story; it can be deduced that leaders play a major role in ensuring the victory of their team. Senwosret successfully leads his team to attain victory over the rivals. Factors that lead to emotional stress hinders the efficient execution of duties. From the book, it can be pinpointed that the death of Senworset's father affected him emotionally while at the military campaign. This was the reason why Sinuhe fled to Syria. He feared that the news on Senwosret's would weaken him and lose focus on the fight. This would make the entire army be defeated and killed by the rivals.
