UNIT 9 FINAL PROJECT 2 Unit 9 Final Project Sexual harassment is a problem that has always been around. There are a lot of misconceptions about sexual harassment and the main misconception that happens is right in the workplace. The first thing that comes to mind when you hear sexual harassment is a women being violated. However, it is just as common that the male is the victim in workplace sexual harassment. Men are less likely to report sexual harassment in the workplace because they are less likely to be believed about the situation. Workplaces need to make sexual harassment a more gender neutral topic so that all employees are treated equally. When people think of sexual harassment they automatically think of women. Women are more likely to be a victim of workplace sexual harassment. Approximately one in four women are sexually harassed in the workplace. However, men are also victims of workplace sexual harassment. According to Gary Langer, one in ten men are a victim of sexual harassment in the workplace. However, a quarter of those men do not report the harassment because they feel like they will have the blame placed on themselves. This is a major problem that needs to be addressed to help men be protected from workplace sexual harassment.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
