INTERNSHIP REPORT 2 Learning Outcome 1: Learn MAC OS How to Accomplish: In order to install MAC OS , my duties require maximum knowhow and quick response during outage situations. I will use desktop utilization reports and navigation experience to help me install and use the MAC OS software Measurement: The main measurement for MAC OS installation and maintenance is customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is achieved through providing a well navigation desktop. In the process of updating the MAC OS, I learned the different between them. MAC MINI is cheaper than iMac. IMac is one computer where the screen and all components are built in a single unit. MAC MINI is small desktop computer that requires an external monitor and also the size memory in MAC MINI is smaller than iMac. Also, I learned the difference between the administrator and standard user. The administrator account can change to items in application and library folders and provide the password needed to authorize function like installing software updates. When I install new computers for offices and classrooms, I make faculty user for classroom and make administrator user for office. If I add admin for office, I have to delete faculty. I will measure the success of this outcome by installing something or unbox new MAC by myself for the first time When I used MAC for the first time, I didn’t know that the mouse and keyboard worked by wireless Bluetooth. When I took the new MAC to the office after image it, I took the old one back and I noticed the keyboard and mouse had no battery. We changed the mouse and keyboard’s battery. Also, I tried to use terminal command in MAC to see what was different between this and command prompt in Windows. I tried to log in my username with password in MAC lab, but I couldn’t. Paul told me it is not the same as in the other lab like in the Union or Elisabeth Hall building. We also used track pad in lab for square because the new mac wasn’t working. I will measure my progress working MAC and Windows by myself. Finally i learned how to use MAC like application store, change background desktop, and system preference. We set up MAC in office and connected to printed and switch. We used Ethernet cable.

INTERNSHIP REPORT 3 Paul gave me information about database and how he uses it in his computer. I update windows in Microsoft Surface Pro 4. We installed Windows in MAC and take almost 2 hours Install new multimedia teaching station equipment Through the knowledge gained I personal was able to start 35 computers half IMAC, half PC, and half MAC MINI and image them to install in offices. Some are IMAC, some are PC, and some are MAC MINI. I finished them to install in offices. I said before PC was difficult, but now it is easy for me with IMAC also. Finish some computes made my work easier and I am learning information. I will measure my progress troubleshoot to see if it is working .

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
