To the kind attention of: Dr. HeshamSadek Problem Apple company followed a top-down method which does not allow innovation, but as Steve Jobs as a unique CEO, he managed it in a creating an innovative atmosphere. The problem is that hierarchy can limit innovation, so they ask if it’s possible to create a system that is anti-hierarchal yet functional. Definition of the Problem Steve Jobs as a CEO of Apple, was a real leader besides influencing the employees to do their jobs, also followed the Top-down creative process. As a leader, Jobs created a culture of constant innovation. Nevertheless, he keptdecision making central. Steve Jobs was very adept and that's why it worked through his leadership. While after Jobs passed away, the organization is going to be a normal hierarchal structure one, which will be very dangerous for a company based on creativity. Especially as it happenedto HP, as most of the important creation they have now, had beenrefused by senior management previously.
