English Composition I During Christmas break I received the email containing information on the next two classes that I was going to take, one of which was English Composition 1. I freaked out and started to panic because, let’s face it, English class was never one of my strengths. The first week of class was nerve racking as to start off with I did really bad on the intellipath, which didn’t help my confidence at the time. What helped with the anxiety that I was feeling was our first assignment of defining a term, I was like this I can handle! I am a very persistent person, so I do not give up easily. I kept at the intellipath portion to attempt at getting a better score. This course, as a whole, was a challenge. I am glad that this was not an easy class. I actually managed to “learn” as opposed to just memorizing what I needed to know. I thought it odd that the intellipath portion was only on the assignment list for the first and second week as in my other classes it was assigned all through our last week of class.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
