EVOLVING WORKPLACE TRENDS 2 The Human Resource Management (HRM) is critical to the day-to-day running of a particular organization. HRM is tasked with numerous responsibilities, some of which will be discussed in this section. Staffing represents one of the most crucial functional areas of human resource management (Hurrell & Murphy, 2011). The staffing process directly affects the overall performance of a particular organization. This is because the staffing process results in the selection of an appropriate number of highly qualified personnel who have what it takes to drive the organization forward. Key Functional Areas of the Human Resource Management In order to ensure a proper staffing process, HRM management conducts a thorough job analysis to determine the right candidates for the job. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
