RESPONSES 2 Response 1 Anita, I disagree that the strategy to cut Medicare payments for health providers who did not utilize EHR is a disadvantage. I choose to view it a s a necessary condition that had to be attached to the incentive in order to achieve the national goal of using health information technology was to reduce medical errors and improve quality. In a way, the choice of the health providers was waived because the implementation of EHR would be valuable to them in the long term, and offering incentives was just a way to make the process faster. I liken this to change in any organization. At first there is going to be resistance in adapting the new ways, despite the current ones being detrimental as compared to the new. However, at the end of the day, what really matter is that the new ways make their life better, as well as of those of the consumers. Therefore, the move was necessary, and so were the conditions that were attached to it.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
