Surname 1 Name Course Instructor Date Posthumous conception We interviewed Mathew Kelvin’s, an administrator at Y hospital. He agreed with us that posthumous conception should take into consideration other factors such as the patient’s autonomy and the practitioner’s view of the beneficial nature of the procedure. He agreed that in cases such as Mrs. Capato’s, legal rights should be taken into account, considering the circumstances. There are no explicit laws with clear guidance regarding this issue. Therefore, there are grey areas that result to controversies. In terms of whether this practice is ethical or not, he said that it was a question of the motive and circumstances of the request. As such, he agreed with us, that the ethical nature of this procedure is relative. Since the physician has no way of determining the genuineness of the intention for the preservation of the sperm, he should play his part and let the justice system take care of the rest.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
