Madison Rex PSYC 101 Dr. Wiss November 5, 2014 Reaction Paper 2 Classical conditioning is the learning of an involuntary reaction as a response to a  conditioned stimulus. I have experienced classical conditioning in my own life. When I  was sixteen years old, I received two speeding tickets within the first month that I first  got my driver’s license. After having to pay for both of the tickets and receive a  punishment from my parents, I knew that I could not afford to get pulled over again. Now whenever I see a cop car while I am driving I immediately get nervous and can feel my  heart beating quickly.  I have been classically conditioned to experience fear and anxiety  whenever I see a cop car, because I associate it with getting a ticket and therefore getting  in trouble with my parents. The UCS is receiving a ticket and the CS is the cop car while
