Brian Hade Lab Report 2 10/1/15 Chem Lab 221 Lab Report: Observations: A. It was very important to clean the test tubes properly because reactions would be altered if they weren’t. The tubes were easily contaminated B. My group was not getting any odors from the chemicals. We could have possibly not used enough C. Each time we faced a contaminated test tube, we noticed a rapid change of color from clear to pink. D. There were many places of error with the test tube tray, the units of measurement were not all the same for each tube, and sometimes we would put more drops in others in an effort to produce a better reaction. Conclusion: Experiment 2, “Identification of a Compound: Chemical Properties” was a very good lab that helped me get a better understanding on how to identify specific
