Using Commands to Manage Windows Module 1: Introduction to the Command-Line For your lab assignment this week, you will use command shell commands to  create a new folder and save the result of executing a  tasklist  command in  that folder. Complete the following lab steps. After you complete each step, please make sure you do the following: 1. Take a screen print after each step using  ALT+PrintScreen  or Windows  Sniping Tool. 2. Save ALL screen prints in a SINGLE Word document and submit the document  to the Lab #1 dropbox at the end of this page. Step 1 In Windows 7, do the following to open the Command Shell in administrative  mode. 1. Click  Start . 2. In the  Start Search  box, type  cmd . 3. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER ( or  right click on the CMD.EXE and select  Run as  administrator ). 4. If the  UAC  dialog box click  Continue . 5. Verify that Administrator credentials are shown in the top border of the CMD  dialog box.
