Theatre 1009 Extra Credit EXTRA CREDIT This performance event is a regular occurrence on the grounds of CU. It happens every Saturday in the fall and is unmistakable. The performance event that I attended, along with many other cu students, was the CU vs. Texas Tech football game on October 14. The School and the Big XII division put on the show. The stadium is a marvel in itself but when it is filled with rowdy fans and the aura of a football day the stadium seems to mark itself as a special place to all of its residents. From the moment you pass through security you can see the arches of the gateway entrances. These arches represent a makeshift Proscenium Arch because when u pass through them you are entering the show which you are not only a spectator but also a participant. The seats are arranged all around the stage and its in the form of an arena performance where the spectators are looking down onto the main attraction of the football game but are easily distracted by the other attractions created by the fellow audience/participants that are accompanying
