EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION PAPER2Effective communication is a skill that people should have or show in any type of situation that requires communication. Effective communication plays an important role in everyday activity; a job, at home, or even in passing. In effective communication there are four goals in which should be practiced daily; to inform, to request, to persuade, and build relationships (Articles base, 2009). To inform, is the way for giving information without receiving anything back; To request can prove to be simple or complex; To persuade, persuasive messages are intended to reinforce or change a receiver's opinion or idea; To build a relationship, one should be able to build trust with whom they are communicating with. In today’s world of technology, we see many new innovative ways that companies can communicate within a facility and with outside facilities effectively and sufficiently. In every healthcare organization, there are many departments with which information must be shared suchas; updates to organization needs, new government requirements, implementing new techniques and equipment to name a few. Technology has created better ways to effectively communicate with all departments whether within the facility or with facilities that are connected yet not in thesame state or even country. To ensure everyone is receiving the correct information needed organizations use phone and/or video conferences, emails, bulletin boards, memorandums, faxes, and even newsletters.
