The Great Charter also named. Limited the king’s power, Nobles demand meaning Barons wanted to defend their privileges. In the Magna Carta it is written with the words “we” meaning King John of England and “they” refer to the Barons. Clause 61 most important because it says if King does not follow the following causes then Barons were loud to revolt. First time this had happened. H) When? 1215 I) Where? England.
