Cory Bio 200 The American Naturalist Article 1.) A bstract – The connotation of this section of the article is to familiarize you to the experiment and to give the results of the original “sexy son” experiment. Introduction – Gives information on the original “sexy son” hypothesis as well as introducing the new predictions and experiment to be tested. Methods – Explained how the data was collected and how they went about sorting the “good” data from the “bad”. Results – Looks at all the data and stats to look at the correlation between the data and the hypothesis. For this section they break it into 2 parts; first breaking the data down logically, then interpreting the results accordingly. Discussion – This section adds on to the simple ideas in the results section, but also starts to deduce about the information gathered. Acknowledgments – The last section of the article, though only one sentence, thanks
