Cory Reflective Autobiography English 101 has brought with it, finally, a college perspective on the subject. Always has been the concern for Cory Trybushyn, a rather ordinary boy from Batavia, New York. Constantly wondering if his high school English career was preparing him for his writing life in college. Would he go to college only to find out that he was all his fretting over literary elements and sentence structure was for not? Would he come to realize that he was maybe a better writer than he was given credit for in the past. Cory was always a good student throughout high school. Finishing off his senior year with an average of ninety-four percent. He was generally a better student in science and math and tended to struggle more in English. The reason for this perhaps being that he always considered himself to be well-spoken and to take a class where he was criticized for the way that he wrote was an environment that wasn’t comforting.
