Secondary Research: Primary Research: you come up with your own questions and actually survey do people yourself to satisfy your needs. Secondary Research: you rely on others’ to find the data that satisfy’s your needs Primary/secondary information: depends on who conducted research and who used the information. Primary/secondary sources: the involvement of the information’s source in the conduct of the research. Primary source: you get information or data from organization who actually collected the data first hand. the individual or organization that originated the information. Secondary source: the individual or organization that provides the information after obtaining from the original source. Why we should use primary sources: Completeness: a primary source presents the full set of information. Accuracy: a secondary source can omit, misinterpret, or present information in a biased manner.
