Introduction What factors of production of the germane resource (product) in each firm were different in 2010 as compared to 2014? o 2010- launched a new brand- Hilton Short Hills. o 2011- launches Hilton Huanying and Home2Suites brands. o 2013- launches Herb N’Kitchen , a new dining concept incorporated into their hotels worldwide. o 2010- launches their Autograph Collection hotels, gaining 95 hotels in 4 continents. o 2012-Acquires Gaylord Hotels Brand, adding 5 hotels and 2 million square feet of meeting and event space. o 2013- debuts their MOXY hotels brand. o 2014-Doubles distribution in Africa to more than 23,000 rooms with the acquisition of Protea Hotels brand.

Their revenue was increasing much greater than Marriott’s as well as their spending was going a lot further than the Marriott’s.
