After the events of September 11, the United States decide to launch a campaign on regimes or organizations that support terrorism. Terrorism defined by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as, “the use of force or violence against persons or property in violation of criminal laws of the United States for purposes of intimidation, coercion, or ransom.” Saddam Husseins Iraq was a prime example for a terrorism. Iraq supports terrorism. It was in the process of aquiring Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). Along with terrorism, Iraq did not obey the sanctions that were put on it as a result of Desert Storm. Now the United States is rebuilding Iraq because of the actions Iraq has taken in the last ten years. Now that Iraq is in the process of becoming an ally to the United States the war in Iraq is undeniably positive.
