Philosophy - meno 17/09/2007 13:35:00 Distinction between things you think are good and know are good. Thought and  knowledge Socrates: thinks we do everything we do because we think it is good. Sometimes  we are wrong, and we don’t know it.  He who knows the good never does evil.  All evil  doing is a result of ignorance.  What we think is good and what is good, often aren’t the same.  Virtue is the desire of things honourable. [not a correct statement, not complete,  because of anything. By obtaining what we think is good and we want justly and moderately.   Meno is wrong with all his definitions: Get’s pissed, talking about a torpedo fish. [makes you go numb, paralyzes  people Socrates] Its’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, if you didn’t know what a needle  was.
