Social responsibility is described as an ethical framework which suggests an entity, either an individual or a firm, have a duty to act in the best interests of their environments and the society. Tim Hortons is one of the most well-known companies as well as the largest fast food restaurant in Canada. They have franchises that stretch coast to coast so they are easily recognizable by almost every Canadian. As a result, they have become a large part of Canadian culture which means it is only proper of them to give back to the community. Tim Hortons is a socially responsible corporation due to the immense contributions they made towards individual Canadian, their communities, as well as the planet.
