 5/7/09 T he  BIG   P icture Each  year  approximately  400  major  crimes  are  reported  on ISU’s campus. It  is  estimated  that  40%  of  campus  crimes  are  not  reported for one reason or another.

 5/7/09 D efinition of  C rimes ISU Code of Conduct: The Code of Student Conduct contains the regulations governing the behavior of  all  students  and  student  organizations  at  Indiana  State  University.    These regulations  are  necessary  to  the  orderly  operation  of  the  University  and  the maintenance of an environment designed to enhance the academic and personal growth of students. Legal: A  type  of  behavior  that  is  has  been  defined  by  the  state,  as  deserving  of punishment which usually includes imprisonment. Crimes and their punishments are defined by Congress and state       legislatures.
