POSITION: USAID Project Management Specialist (Infectious Disease/Malaria), Grade level: FSN-11 BASIC SALARY : From FRW 22,009,161 to FRW 37,415,578 per year OPENING DATE: June 15, 2016 CLOSING DATE: July 01, 2016 WORK HOURS: Full-time; 40 hours/week. USAID/Rwanda is seeking an Ordinarily Resident citizen or individual with the required work permit for employment as USAID Project Management Specialist (Infectious Disease/Malaria) USAID/Rwanda offers an Equal Employment Opportunity (regardless of age, sex, race, handicaps, national origin, etc.). BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION The Infectious Disease/Malaria Specialist will serve as activity manager for the USAID Emerging Pandemic Threats-2 (EPT-2) program operating in Rwanda. S/he will also serve as a technical advisor for President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) programs operating in Rwanda. S/he will meet with and coordinate implementing partner activities in Rwanda. S/he will work with a wide array of USG partners (e.g. CDC, DOD), ministries, district health offices, laboratories, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and implementing partners to achieve EPT-2 and Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) objectives and to ensure that USAID’s program is aligned with the Government of Rwanda’s plans and priorities. S/he will ensure that the Mission’s planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the EPT-2 program
