Q No 1. The case was heard in High Court of Australia. The court is exercising Appellate Jurisdiction in Australia. Q No 2. The hierarchy of court that had previously heard the case is 1. Federal Court of Australia 2. Full Federal Court and 3. High Court Q No 3. The bank has sent an email to one of the employee notifying about giving chance to participate in the redeployment process. However, the man declines of getting an email and says that his bank account has not been working and he should get the job. But at the last moment bank does not give the job stating that the man didn’t respond to the email that has been sent. Q No 4. The legal issue in this case is related to mutual trust and confidence. Q No 5. The legal argument in this case is that the bank is stating that the email has been sent to the employee about the job offer whereas the employee defends himself by saying that his bank email has not been working and he should get the job. As per the man, the bank is responsible so he should be able to continue with his job.
