What Can Bush Do For Us? In the January 3, 2007 issue of Wall Street Journal , President George W. Bush congratulates members of the 110 th Congress on their elections. In Bush’s article, “What the Congress Can Do for America”, President Bush brings up many important issues with our government that the Congress can help resolve, such as health insurance and social security. Bush’s purpose in writing this article is to reassure the republicans that even though the democrats took over Congress, the republicans are still going to control Washington. President Bush says, “Together, we have a chance to serve the American people by solving the complex problems that many don’t expect us to tackle, let alone solve.” Bush’s audience mostly consists of conservative republican businessmen who most likely support the president. The Wall Street Journal is one of the few newspapers that Bush would publish his article in. He knows who his audience is and addresses them accordingly.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
