Hypothesis The voltage measured should be different for different metals, but the voltage generated from the sets of metals should be the same regardless of the fruit the metals are in. The different fruit should yield about the same voltage because the metals will still have the same electric potential. Variables The dependent variable is the voltage, the independent variables are the metals and fruits used and the controlled variable is the tool used for measuring the voltage.
