REFLECTION PAPER 1: (RESPONSIVE CAREGIVING AND ENVIRONMENT Responsive Caregiving and Environment The growth of infants and toddlers often take place under their primary caregivers. This means that there is the need to have an environment that supports the caregivers and the infants into realizing an enabling growth. This paper focuses on some related aspects that include: Relationships When an infant is attached to a caregiver, the infant enjoys the care from the benefit of one-on-one relationships with the caregiver. In this respect, the infant learns to develop trust on the caregiver and learns to respond accordingly to his or her unique temperament (Child Development Council, n.d). Specifically, such a relationship enables the infants identify the person who feeds them, puts them to sleep, changes their diapers, comfort them always and secure them. In addition, the relationship between the infant and their primary caregivers enables them to build security while tends to deepen when the infants that develop a positive relationship with their caregivers.
