Theology Reflection 3.3.2008 “Many Paths of Forgiveness” – Dr. Daniel Gottlieb Dr. Gottlieb was a very nice man and although I didn’t plan on staying for his presentation, after talking to him for about 10 minutes it was obvious he had a great story behind him. I was working in the Connelly Center and went down to introduce myself and put his microphone on and he was the first person in a long time that thanked me for doing that and started having a conversation with me. Usually, I am greeted with annoyance or just get written off as the “tech guy” but he seemed genuinely interested in me. When he asked me if I was going to stay, I told him no (I had a paper to write) and he had an astonished look on his face. He was surrounded by professors who have studied his work or students waiting to take notes and he just categorized me in with that crowd. He told me “You know, you seem pretty bitter and I’ve been bitter most of my life. That’s actually what my presentation is on.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
