Surgeons invent extensions for nerves so can still be attached while out. Needs blood, etc, will dry out if not in something, build vat to put brain in so it wont dry out. Connector, cell phone so brain can connect with her. Sees brain in vat and doesn’t believe that it is hers. She feels like she is in her body, not a vat.
