His purpose in this specific chapter is to explain the use of reading facial expressions in order to show us the problem of snap judgments in those of us who have an adrenaline rush or a mental disorder. His intended audience for this book seems to for college age students or adults, his serious tone and his use of real life experiments gives the reader a mature vocabulary and feel to the book, however he uses it in a way that is extremely easy to understand and he guides us to a general idea of how to use his work after we are done reading it....
