22 Introduction The articles that I found are all about different topics. The one that will be used for a future project is about how the introduction of television causes white homicide rates to increase. The article was written by Brandon S. Centerwall in 1992. The title of the article is Television and violence: the scale of the problem and where to go from here. Variables The independent variable is the amount of exposure of television children had in a society. The dependent variable is the white homicide, and violent crime rate increase that results from the exposure to television.
