Job Brief
The company is looking for a Business Manager, who is experienced to oversee and lead
in the Food & Beverage Department of Kempinski Villa Rosa Classic Hotel. The applicant will
have the responsibility of ensuring customer satisfaction, maintenance of standards and food
control through proper food portioning by the Chefs. The primary goal is to protect the
company’s image as well as achieving huge profits by maintaining the existing customers and
turning walk-ins to regular clients. The ideal candidate is expected to be well experienced in all
areas of the Food & Beverage department. The potential employee should be capable of guiding
the waiters and waitresses to enhance an excellent performance in a relevant manner of
incorporating the culture and vision of the company. The company is located in Texas, and it has
16 branches internationally including regions in Africa (Mallon, 2015).

Person Specification:
It is a requirement for the applicant to remain professional and to
ensure that they are well presented at all times. Punctuality is of importance as a significant
image to manager’s subordinates will be determined by the individual’s level of responsibility.
They are required to have the possession of high skills of communication with consideration to
peoples’ needs
(Gao, Luo & Tang, 2015)
. An excellent language proficiency in English both
written and verbal is required. One of the major requirements in this industry is the applicants’
confidence including a character of approachableness with a capability of dealing with different
aspects of people without irrational decision-making processes. The ability to liaise with all
individuals within the organization including outside the organization is also a requirement
(Khanam, 2015).
