Crouch 1 Business Process Management Business Process Management is based on the everyday tasks of a business. These types of techniques are used to help better business processes for a company so that it can be competitive with its competitors. The Business world these days, even more than in the past is a very competitive environment. There are thousands of companies that are fighting for customers and business, and now a days it takes something big to set your company apart from the others. The definition of Business Process Management: “is a field of knowledge at the intersection between management and information technology, encompassing methods, techniques and tools to design, enact, control, and analyze operational business processes involving humans, organizations, applications, documents and other sources of information.” The problem with that is that even if you do find something that sets your company apart, it isn’t long before your competitors catch on to what it is and copy it.
