2 HRM 560, Organizational Change Costco Warehouse Company is the largest warehouse in the world. Costco’s major competitors are Walmart and Sam’s. It brings in more than $100,000 yearly and the profits are increasing on a regular basis. It was founded on September15, 1983. Costco has composed over 632 warehouses and has more than 184,000 employees. The Human Resource Management at Costco is very organized and known for accuracy. The plan is well established and guarantees a successful outcome. The effective plan makes it more competitive in the market industry. Just like other companies, Costco has flaws. Learning from flaws gives employees the opportunity to overcome and learn from their mistakes. After comparing the policies with its competitors. , I have determined Walmart’s policies are better than Costco’s. Costco’s primary goal focuses on 100% customer and employee satisfaction. Keeping the employees satisfied promotes employee retention. The company offers excellent salaries and benefits. Employees earn up to satisfying the employees will promote employee retention. They offer excellent salaries and benefits. The lowest paid employee earns $17 per hour. Employees are scheduled to work 10 hours a day, four times a week. The company provides health insurance to 90% of the workers. Just like other companies, Costco has its flaws too. They fail to register profits on a regular basis. Employee redistribution is the primary focus due to large operations. Although the company has decreased in performance, the company still operates large scale operations. The pay structure was redesigned to maintain health incentives. The mission is to implement public reforms to illustrate the bottom up approach. The strategies can be accomplished by adapting to change.
