2Acceptence of students to educational institute in ItalyThe education system in Italy consists of free public schools maintained by thegovernment and private schools maintained by religious bodies or other private owners.Some of these private schools provide international curricula such as the InternationalBaccalaureate and Cambridge.Age is the primary factor which affects the acceptance of the school in Italy for theelementary level. Public and some private schools only consider age as the acceptance. From the age of six to sixteen, all kids are obliged to attend school. Even stateinfant schools are free, with committed teachers and reasonably sized classes (Cassese,2017).Two different infant schools; asilo nido (kindergarten) and scuola materna (preschool)accept students age up to three years old children and three to six years old childrenrespectively.
