4. The GLO Hotels chain is part of Kämp Group Ltd, a Finnish hotel and restaurant group, which has 500 employees with more than 10 restaurants and five hotels. The Group's internationally most famous hotel is in 1887 grounded legendary Hotel Kämp. 5. Hyatt Hotels is upscale on a more intimate scale. With restaurants and gathering spaces geared toward the individual traveler, Hyatt hotels are properties designed with contemporary flair to serve discerning business and leisure travelers who seek well-appointed guest rooms and convenient access to business districts, airports or leisure attractions. Howard Johnson is one of the most iconic hotel brands in America. The brand pioneered hotel franchising in 1954. Today, Howard Johnson has over 460 hotels in North America, Latin America, Asia and other international markets. In North America, the brand operates in the midscale and economy segments while internationally the brand includes midscale and upscale hotels. 7. In July 2013, Whitbread PLC, the UK’s largest hotel group, announced the launch of its new hotel concept, ‘hub by Premier Inn’. The new concept will target major UK city centres such as London and Edinburgh, with the first ‘hub by Premier Inn’ to open on St. Martin’s Lane in London in summer 2014.
