Gaining admission into Walden University is the biggest gift Icould ever have gotten this year after trying to obtain admission into various universities in Nigeria, thepopulation of those who wish to gain entry is much. With the loss of my father in the same period, life becamedifficult and very hard for me because psychologically, my mind was telling me to wait but my enrolment advisorkept me going. The first day at Walden University was scary for me because of the weekly assignments and thephysical challenges I am to face, e.g., “lack of constant power supply, bad laptop to manage and lack of free timeand work space for my academic studies. All I can see in the midst of all these challenges are successes and whatthe future will hold. The assessment opens my eyes for me to know more about myself, from the first week to thefourth, I have improved academically. Being a Walden University student is a dream come true that finally my life now has a meaning, I intend to do allit takes to complete my degree program at Walden University even if I have to lose sleep at night. It will be verystressful for me but am willing to go the extra mile because my family is counting on me to succeed no matterwhat.
