BME 501 Midterm Exam #1 NAME:__________________________ 1 Exam Conditions: a. You have 110 minutes to complete the exam. b. You may use books and notes for this exam. Computers should not be used. c. You may not receive assistance from others during the exam. d. After the TA has given the signal to start, check the number of pages in your exam. e. Cover your answers from your neighbors. f. Remember to put your name at the top of the first page. Place your name or initials on other pages. g. Staring at others’ exams will result in expulsion from this University with no exception for this midterm. This behavior is unfair to your fellow classmates. Excerpt from the USC Catalogue: Academic Dishonesty Sanctions When a student is found responsible for a violation of the USC Student Conduct Code standards pertaining to academic dishonesty, the Vice President for Student Affairs (or designee) will inform the Office of Academic Records and Registrar. In appropriate cases, the Office of Academic Records and Registrar will post the information on the student's academic records. Disciplinary sanctions noted on student records include suspension and expulsion from the university and revocation of admission and degree. Disciplinary grade sanctions (e.g., F in course) are not distinguished on a student's transcript from marks assigned for academic work accomplished.
