In this assignment, the company that will bethe focus of change management discussion is the MESA Company.Company Selection AnalysisCompany and Rationale for SelectionThe Malcolm Baldrige Awards have many different possible companies to highlight. Thistime I wanted to make sure that my focus was on a recently awarded company. This is why Idecided to discuss MESA. MESA is a company based in Tulsa, OK that provides products andservices to control or prevent corrosion. I was immediately impressed with their 2019 revenue of$90 million with a workforce of just 260 employees (Malcolm, 2020). Also with the fact thatthey have now won the Baldridge Award three times. On a separate note, I work in the hospitalityindustry and not many companies in the hospitality industry have won the award, so I wanted tochoose one that has been very successful. This company is also very successful with theircustomer satisfaction. I can see how they must have a few change management processes thathave been assisting with their success. I would like to see what best practices I can incorporate asa CEO.Vision, Mission, and ValuesMESA has a definite mission statement of, “we deliver safe, innovative solutions for theprotection of people, property, and the planet,” (MESA, 2021).
