Required text: Laboratory Manual for Physical Geology, 2006, 5th edition, Jones and Jones, McGraw Hill Publishers. Note: Used lab manuals are NOT acceptable! ATTENDANCE: The hands-on learning provided by this lab is essential to your understanding of geology, and is key to your overall success in this course. As a consequence, attendance and completion of ALL laboratory exercises is mandatory. In order to receive full attendance credit, you must complete your in-class lab assignments to the complete satisfaction of your lab instructor. If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a lab, you must contact your lab instructor ahead of time to discuss your options. BRING YOUR LAB MANUAL TO LAB EVERY WEEK. GRADES: Your lab grade will be based on lab exams, attendance, homework assignments, and extra credit (when applicable, see below). Your final lab grade will constitute approximately one-third of your final course grade (see your lecture syllabus for details). You
