John Stuber 1S2 Professor Shah Today’s class mainly focused on the aspect of Human Resource Management (HRM) and its application to the business industry and company hierarchy. A start of an organizational chart was made up for the company General Electric with the President at the cornerstone while having the Vice President of HRM underneath him. For General Electric it was estimated that about 300,000 people are employed worldwide by them and approximately 40 percent fall under the domestic part of them. Of the 40 percent it was determined that about 100 employees are employed by the HRM sector, which is in charge of the hiring process and maintenance of employees within the company. The hiring process was then discussed, and it dealt with a specific set of events that leads up to the establishment of the current number of employees allowed to work in the company.
