A total of 100 multiple choice online questions onFIVEdifferent research methods. The MCQs will be divided into 5 sets of 20 questions each.As part of the module, students are required to select 5 research methods topics tostudy in-depth. Each topic will be assessed via 20 MCQs. All MCQs will be equallyweighted to achieve a single overall mark for the MCQ assessment. The MCQsassessment will be online. The test will be open for a fixed 3-hour time slot.2: Research Proposal Assignment–weighted 85% - Deadline dependent onpathway choice:Deadline for dissertation and for consultancy project students: 1pm, Thursday,30thJune 2022 / Deadline for placement and for entrepreneurship pathwaystudents: 1pm, Monday, 15thAugust 2022Researchproposal/ProjectScopingReport(2,000words).Theresearchproposal/project scoping report will identify the research project topic, the scope of theproject, relevant primary and secondary sources of information about the project area,consider appropriate research methodology/methods to use when researching in theproject area, reflect on ethical issues to be considered when exploring the project area.Further information on the Research Proposal/Project Scoping Report can befound on the next page.Formative Assignment–Workbook–to be completed prior to submitting researchproposal/project scoping reportStudents are also expected to complete the workbook as they progress on this course.
