This paper is a written proposal to the management and stockholders in our organization
for its growth and development and to serve patients with the best quality of care in this fast-
forwarding technology terms. To step forward and be the best at what we do, we need to aim to
high-quality home care service with high technology, patient safety, and patient satisfaction by
having interprofessional team meetings every week with informatics nurses and superusers in our
team.
Proposing project
There are three projects I would like to propose in this paper:
1. Nurse informatics needs to be in the workforce to provide caregivers adequate education
for new computer applications for service record form. Nurse informatics will establish
communication methods to address patient's critical conditions and status that need
immediate intervention.
2. Interprofessional team members will have team meetings once a week to ensure patient
safety and high quality of care.
3. Superusers in caregivers will be picked and serve other caregivers to help in real-time
setting.

Patient outcome and patient care efficiencies
The service record form was recently switched from papers to electronic recording as
mandated by Medicaid. This new system intent to convenient location track and confirmation of
service hours confirmed by GPS. Caregivers are to clock in and out with their phone app, record
vital signs, and remark any other change of patient's condition. Although McGonigle and
Mastrian (2017) warned about “potential dehumanization of patient experience in high
technology driven setting”, we all must admit that it is time that no one can go back and do old
fashion way of taking care of patients anymore. Since this new system change, many educational
and management needs arose in our company. First caregivers needed clear step by step
education of how to use the application, including how to clock in and out on time within
allowed proximity from the client's location, find out care plans, critical record information in
the application, and communicate with other team members regarding using this new system.
