The schedule of topics along with the due dates for the computer-generated homework is provided at http://mcweb.uci.edu/ Students are free to use the program as often as they wish and may seek assistance from the Instructor or the Teaching Assistants if they have difficulties. They may do the post-tests associated with each assignment as many times as they wished with the understanding that only the highest score for each assignment will count for a grade. To receive full credit each assignment must be completed by the due date. Scoring of homework will be as follows: 12 points for a score equal to or better than 75% completed on or before the due date. 6 points for a score between 50% and 74% completed on or before the due date. 6 points for a score equal to or better than 75% completed after the due date. 3 points for a score between 50% and 74% completed after the due date. 0 points for a score below 50%. A study aid to help students in solving some of the assignments is available with homework (Choose the "Chem Help" button).
