Running head: SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS 1
My position on suicide leans on the opinion or perspective that it is morally wrong and is seen as
murder in my eyes. Even though it is not from the hand of another, I believe that the same
concept applies when it comes to, ‘you cannot give life, therefore you should not take life’.
Every human being according to God was placed here for a divine reason and purpose while not
everyone is a believer in this, for those who seek help and seek it from the right places shall
receive it.
There are many motivational scriptures in the bible and stories that talk about how far
having faith in God can lead a person for example the story of Job where he was made to stand a
test of trials and temptations but kept in his faith in God and never faulted and thus was
rewarded. In the bible it is stated that, ‘but he who hopes in the lord shall renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like an eagle; They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not
be faint’ (Isaiah 40:31). It is based on one’s belief and one’s own faith that can help someone get
through difficult moments in life.
