THE NEW ENGLAND AND SOUTHERN COLONIES 2AbstractThis paper explains the similarities and differences of the New England and Southern colonies through politics, religion, economics, and the types of settlers. The main points of this paper will answer questions like, how do they relate and differ from religion, politics, economics, and also geographically. The reader will be able to see the struggles and accomplishments that each colony had to face over the years. Another thing that the reader will see is that the New England colonies were very religious and the Southern colonies focused more on their agriculture. These two colonies may have come across as very similar, but the differences that they have make themvery unique. Both of the colonies had a large group of people that came from England. The motivations that the two colonies had were different which caused them to go into two completely different directions. A big difference that they faced was the New England colonies had a very strict religion. The Southern colonies were primarily focused on the economic success.
