MMGP- INDIVIDUAL SUBMISSION-GROUP 1 2 Describe and discuss the personal factors that have the most influence on consumers purchasing your product/service. “Personal characteristics that influence a buyer’s decision include age and stage in the life cycle, occupation and economic circumstances, personality and self-concept, and lifestyle and values” (Kotler & Keller, 2016, p. 169). While it is likely that all of these personal factors have an infuence on consumers purchasing our Christian sneakers, (1) age, (2) occupation and economic circumstances, and (3) values have the most influence. Age and Stage in the Life Cycle As stated by Kotler & Keller, “our taste in food, clothes, furniture, and recreation is often related to our age. Consumption is also shaped by the family life cycle and the number, age, and gender of people in the household” (p. 169). A high coorelation exists between age and the type of shoe worn.
