I. Introduction A. Things don’t get done by themselves in any organization. Someone has to be thinking, planning and acting strategically. B. We will examine Five Essential Elements that are necessary to effective leadership coaching. II. Plans & Planning – Everything Starts with a Master Plan A. Joshua had been given goals and plans by Moses and was instructed in Joshua 1 to move forward with those plans and that because of God’s presence and the plans he need not be afraid. A Christian’s day must begin in God’s Word. B. Plans function as an organizations’ playbook. C. Plans need to be: 1. written down 2. measurable 3. attainable but stretching 4. owned and bought into by everyone on the leadership team and within the organization. III. Personalities A. Leaders need to understand the most effective context they work within based on their personalities.
