Melissa Thompson: Introduction
Good Morning Everyone,
1. My name is Melissa Thompson. I am currently pursuing a BA in Health Sciences.
Afterwards I think that I will go for a Masters in Occupational Therapy. I am an animal
care specialist in the Army. The Army is the only branch with this MOS so it's very
unique. Depending on where we are stationed will determine our mission. I am living in
Maryland for at least the next year if not longer. I really enjoy hiking. I recently got a
Scratch off map of all the US National Parks. I started with Shenandoah National Park
since that one is the closest to me. There is so much of it left to explore. Also started the
Appalachian Trail. Attached is a picture from Shenandoah.
2. This course is a part of my academic plan to complete my BA. I have taken a chemistry
class before and really enjoyed it. I am hoping that I can find some ways to relate this
towards my masters and get a good grasp on chemical reactions.
